What is your view of this life?

This is surely how Israel felt being enslaved in Egypt …

We are not unlike them…

Today is the exclamation mark on the sentence of meaningful life leading to eternal life. Pentecost Sunday!  The day God’s Plan of Salvation was revealed & the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was born!

But as Israel needed a conqueror (and found one in Joshua) so we need a Conqueror

Joshua & Jesus conquered the troublers of God’s people

Heb. 2:14-15

What Jesus did conquered sin once & for all

Joshua gave temporary inheritance – Jesus, eternal inheritance

We honor heroes

Jesus, The Conqueror has saved our eternal soul …

He promised a HELPER when He left.  The Holy Spirit came on Pentecost.

Acts 2….

1. 39 – This is a conditional promise…The condition that one repents & is immersed into Christ.

Col. 1:1-6,

Would Paul call you one of the saints and faithful brethren in Christ?

Only if you do what they did on Pentecost following Jesus’ ascension into heaven & throughout the New Testament.
