GODLY WOMEN ARE SUBMISSIVE (v.1)

• It is not slavery!
• “giving us my right to have my way” (Foster)
• 5:22 & 21

GODLY WOMEN ARE RESPECTFUL (vs. 2-3)

• God’s people have always been different from the rest of the world
• We live in an immoral world
• For many women their biggest investment is in the way they look. This should not be the case with godly women – I Sam. 16:7
• Outward fades

GODLY WOMEN ARE GOD-CENTERED (v. 5)

• Hope in God
• 11:8-10, 13-16
• Many are hopeless
• 5:5
